3rd Recovery Celebration of the Lehaio team
"TAKE A BREATH"

• May 9-11, we are waiting for you at the 3rd Recovery Celebration of the Lechaios team, which will take place in Feneo, Corinth, to have a good time, celebrate our recovery and... "take a breath".
• In the beautiful Mountainous Corinth, just two hours (170 kilometers) away from Attica, we will experience a short escape with the scent of spring, letting the hours pass pleasantly and constructively, with recovery groups and recreational activities.
• For adventure and exercise lovers, with an enjoyable hike to one of the most atmospheric and idyllic artificial lakes: the magnificent Lake Doxa and the amazing nature that surrounds it.
• A breath away from Lake Doxa, the stone village of Goura welcomes convalescent travelers to its elevated and much-photographed square, which stands out for its picturesqueness and unique view.
• From there, you will gaze at the Feneos Valley, admire the view of the surrounding mountains and enjoy your coffee, before continuing your wanderings in this part of Greece. Ideal for a short break from everyday life, Goura is a destination worth visiting.
• Two minutes from the central square, the Akrothea Guesthouse will host the 3rd recovery celebration with morning and evening recovery groups – marathons.
• All groups are open to visitors, except for the Saturday marathon.
• Goura and Lake Doxa, with its unique landscape, is an ideal destination to come alone with your friends or with your family.
• If you are a sports fan, you can go canoeing on the lake or horseback riding and then see the chapel of Agios Fanourios. For those interested, there are stalls with local products, while you will certainly see campers next to you who came for a one-day trip or a picnic.
Contributions - registrations have begun and are at 5€, for anyone who wants and can support our action. Along with the contribution, a souvenir - bracelet for our celebration is also given.
How will I go?
Goura is 170 kilometers from Athens. If you start by car from the Athens-Patras national road and take the exit for Kiato, you will enjoy a wonderful drive to Goura, after first passing through Stymphalia. In 2-2.5 hours you will have reached your destination and will already be getting your first taste of “authentic Greece”.
Where will I stay?
The recovery celebration is held at the event space of the Akrothea Hotel, which has rooms for two, three and four people, with a wonderful view of the lake, breakfast and everything else you might need!

Apart from that, there are many options near the festival site and in the surrounding areas, rooms to rent, guesthouses and even Airbnb to choose from!
Where will I eat?
In the village there are taverns and traditional cafes to enjoy your food or coffee. If you ask the locals they will definitely recommend the famous "broken" chocolate. One of the most famous taverns in the area is "Boukouni", which has delicious food, a warm environment and very good prices. Try the mutton burger, the mutton and lamb ribs and you will remember us. And of course, definitely ask for one of the pies on the menu. Minced meat pie or onion pie. In a word, a dream!
A walk to Lake Doxa is also worth combining with a stop at Stenos and the tavern "Ta Trikrina" for unique bucolic gastronomic experiences.
